Position Summary: In this role, the individual will perform highly advanced (senior-level) contract administration and contract development work supporting the mission critical functions of the agency¿s cooperative procurement program.
Work involves coordinating procurements for large scope, and/or multi-award contracts by defining requirements and developing, negotiating, and awarding contracts. This role will document and implement process improvements, and work to develop guidelines, policies, and procedures. Duties will include prioritization of work streams and setting standards for achieving procurement program goals. Additionally, this role ensures compliance with current purchasing policies and regulations and ensures state procurement procedures are followed. This is an opportunity to work under minimal supervision of the Cooperative Procurement Direction with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
